Beliefs

While in pursuit...here are the beliefs we embrace...

• God is bigger, better and closer than we can imagine
• God’s love for us is beyond our comprehension and was demonstrated in
  Christ by His willing sacrifice for our sins
• The Bible is God’s divine guidebook for living and irrefutable truth
• Jesus is God showing Himself to us
• Through His Holy Spirit, God lives in and through those who know Him
• Nothing in creation “just happened”;  God made it all
• Everyone in the world has been born into sin and has fallen short of God’s standard for holiness and righteousness
• Faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior is the only acceptable payment for our sins and our only hope for this life and for eternal life with God the Father
• God has allowed evil to provide us with a choice, God can bring good out of evil events, and God promises victory over evil to those who choose to receive His son – Jesus Christ
• Death is a beginning, not the end
• Life is a test a trust and is temporary.  Trials and difficulty are part of life on this earth, but in Christ the world and death have been overcome
• Abundant life is not a “pie-in-the-sky” ideal but a promise from God
• The Church is the Body of Christ and is commanded to love people like Jesus loved people
• As believers who have trusted their life to Christ, we each are commissioned to tell others the Good News of what Christ has done for us
• Jesus is coming again
