Love your neighbor. Serve your city.

"Love Your Neighbor" represents the mission efforts of The Pursuit Church throughout Larimer County.  Through "Love Your Neighbor” we are beginning to partner with various non-profit organizations that are making an impact far outreaching what we can do on our own.  It’s all about mobilizing the good people of Larimer County to partner together towards a common goal:  To make a difference in our city and throughout our county.

Concerned Larimer
The Pursuit is teaming up with Concerned Larimer to enhance the provision of information and services to all in Larimer County with unmet needs.  Concerned Larimer is not a service agency but a network of trained connectors wanting to build relationships and help individuals, couples and families in need, to secure services.

McKinney Backpack Project
The McKinney Backpack Program buys food from the Food Bank for Larimer County and provides items that can be used to create a nutritious meal for needy students.  Volunteers meet every Thursday morning at First Presbyterian Church to pack grocery bags with food items. After delivering them to local schools across PSD, these students take home the backpacks with two meals' worth of food for the weekend.

Homeless Prevention Initiative
The Homelessness Prevention Initiative provides rental assistance to members of our community who face the loss of their housing through unforeseen emergencies. For those who earn a marginal income or work in service sector jobs, homelessness is just one rent payment away.

Homeless Gear
The mission of Homeless Gear is a simple one.  Collect unwanted Outdoor Gear (packs, sleeping bags, tents, tarps, etc), Outdoor Basic Clothing (coats, rain gear, boots, etc) and Hygiene Products & re-distribute these items to the homeless.  We want to make the days more bearable and the nights survivable for homeless adults, youth, and children.

Namaqua Center
For more than thirty years, Namaqua Center has restored hope and a future for children statewide who have suffered severe neglect or abuse. Namaqua Center has a long-held reputation among social service agencies for providing effective therapy to the child victims who need it most and is the first referral choice of many caseworkers in meeting the therapy needs of the most traumatized children and families.
